I would attend Gay Days again and just be mentally prepared for major crowds. It was just a freakishly crowded Saturday. It was overcrowded to the point we had to leave the park for a few hours, but we hardly saw any red shirts. Fast forward many years and now I have a child who is part of the LGBT community (not the one who always wanted to go to Gay Days) and we decided to go to mini Gay Days last March. We didn't go again because I told her I couldn't stand the crowds. She gets stuck on traditions and since we went 2 years in a row, it was a tradition. The Gay Pride Flag is flying over the city. A flag raising ceremony was held Saturday morning. Timothy Price, the Chairman of the city’s Arts & Culture Commission, talks about the Gay Pride Flag that is now flying on the city’s flagpole in Zussman Park. He pointed, and I told him, 'sometimes boys marry boys and girls marry girls' and that was the end of it. Hamtramck raises the Gay Pride Flag despite objections. One of our sons was quite young and had never seen same gender people kissing-and he saw two men kissing at Disneyland. My daughter used to asked to go for Gay Days every year after that. We were at Disneyland once during Gay Days. I don't think they cared at all when I told them. My kids wanted to know, too, so I told them.

Kings Day Amsterdam Amsterdam Thu November 2023. Disneyland Paris Pride Paris Sat Gay Pride Rome Rome Sat Pride by the beach Oceanside. From Madrid to Sao Paulo and from NYC to Amsterdam we have all gay events in 2022. All of their family and friends who were there with them also wore the shirts. Details and event dates of all major gay pride festivals around the world. There were tons of people wearing red Tshirts. I think comparing to regular crowds now, it probably wouldn't have seemed so over the top crowded. It was extremely crowded by the crowd standards back then. We were going to see the Halloween decorations (back before there were Halloween parties) and to celebrate my daughter's birthday and it happened to be during Gay Days two years in a row. Long Beach launched its parade in 1983, a modest event. My family attended on Gay Days twice unintentionally before it was a big hoopla like it is now. The first pride parade in the country was conceived in 1969 in the wake of a police raid and riots at the Stonewall Inn gay bar in New York. I'll answer in the way that I read your post. Click to expand.I didn't see anything regarding fear in your OP, even though some of the responses seem to reflect that.
